I view external funding as a vehicle for teaching and research excellence. I have been awarded multiple such projects, some of which are indicated below. Besides the expected outcomes or deliverables, external projects based around consortia of experts create incredible opportunities for networking, understanding industry needs first hand, and social impact.
My goal is to actively attract funding in order to work with disadvantaged communities and alleviate certain social challenges through targeted training, reskilling and ethical/responsible use of emerging technologies.
